Aboriginal Tourism Business Development Workshop - Starts Jan. 17th, ARE YOU REGISTERED?

Hello All,

The Aboriginal Tourism Association of BC (AtBC) is coming out in January to work with Sts’ailes and other interested First Nations or Aboriginal Peoples to share knowledge and work with entrepreneurs, people who have a skill or product or business idea, they would like to develop into a business plan.

For Sts’ailes, there is a lot of development on the horizon, and meeting the business development needs that these opportunities present will be key to successful community economic development.  Have you thought about starting your own business?  Know someone you think would make a great business person?  Now is the time.  This will not be offered again soon.

We need to develop the “experiences” that so many come to Canada to seek…interpretive guides, medicine walks, crafts and craft workshops, cultural performances, products in art, wild harvested foods, value added in forestry, fishing…lots of ideas to explore.  Find your niche…what is the gift you have to share?

This is also excellent training for those with a business idea that is not directly related to tourism, but could be a service or product that supports tourism or a product of service that is needed in the community.

Take advantage of this in-community training, delivered at Sasquatch Crossing Eco Lodge, starting at 5:30pm, Monday January 17th, 2011.

It is easy to register, just give me a call.  Training will take place Mondays and Wednesday evenings.

Look forward to having lots of Sts’ailes members take advantage of this FREE training.

Gilakas’la!
